The Impossible Project In 2008, Polaroid announced the end of instant film and days before closing their doors, Impossible stepped in and bought their last remaining factory. The machines were dismantled and there were no procedures to follow. In order to keep instant film alive, Impossible had to reinvent the wheel.
Nine years later with the help of many, Impossible is the only company in the world who make original format instant film. They also refurbish classic Polaroid cameras so they're as good as new, as well as, introducing new Impossible cameras.
